More Easter Fun

Our girly-girl
the boys on the hunt for eggs

Hannah found a pair of Sondra's old sunglasses that we had converted to play glasses as children.

We went to Hutch for Easter dinner. The boys had fun hunting for eggs with their cousins. Hannah didn't join in the fun because she was too scared of Buster, the dog, who is harmless. But she did have fun going through our old toys. It was a busy, but fun Easter.

Happy Easter!

I took this right after church, and Hannah took her bows out on the way home and the boys both took off shoes and socks. At least they are still cute.
Checking out their Easter bucket loot.

"Hey, whatcha got in there Androoo?"

Someone enjoyed her strawberry Tic-Tacs.
While Hannah napped, the boys dyed eggs.

Let's Dye Easter Eggs!

The masterpieces

Such concentration

Andrew checking the "orangeness" of the egg. The verdict was that it needed to soak a little longer.

So, about a week after Easter, we finally had a chance to dye our Easter eggs. The boys didn't care that we missed the pre-Easter deadline, and I decided it was still April, so it could be done. It didn't take us as long as I thought, so I think next year we will have to boil 2 dozen eggs. Hannah enjoyed a peaceful nap while we worked and maybe next year we'll let Hannah help. Maybe.

Happy Easter

Andrew showing off his new Lego car instructions.

Somehow, with the craziness of getting to church on time and then driving to Hutch for lunch, we failed to take any Easter pictures. So these individual pictures will have to do for now. Maybe next Sunday I'll make the kiddos sit together for two seconds while I try to take a springtime photo.

Hannah got a princess cell phone since she is no longer allowed to touch mine. She broke it, and it is dead. I can't even turn it on to retrieve all my contacts. So, this is her phone and she can break it if she wants.

Somewhere along the way, our little Jonathan turned into this big guy.

Hannah's basket was a little slim, but she's young and doesn't realize she got short changed. At least not yet.

Easter surprise

The boys hard at work on their new Lego sets.

Finished product - cool car and jet airplane

Hannah remembered wrapping paper led to great surprises

The boys had a hard time not helping her, but they did restrain themselves.

I don't know what she was thinking in this photo, but I love her expression as she checks out her new cute outfit.

We got a fun surprise package in the mail a couple days before Easter from Auntie, Uncle Dave, Ben and Cate. The boys were so excited about their new Legos. The 3-in-1 Lego packs were a big hit! Selfishly, I thought they would buy me a quiet afternoon. Turns out that tiny Legos and Jonathan required a little help from me to complete. I'm not as quick as Andrew, but I was able to help build the jet without too many redos. Hannah also got a cute new outfit. Thanks for the fun box of happy Easter surprises Fleurys!

Random pictures from April

April was a fun, but busy month. Here are a couple of pictures I failed to post earlier...

April showers bring umbrella fun!

We finally got around to dyeing Easter eggs a week after Easter. The boys didn't seem to notice that we were a little late in getting this done. They just loved watching their eggs change colors. And there was minimal mess!

This picture frightens me a little. I can't remember what he was saying or doing at this moment.

Happy Easter! Somehow we didn't manage to get a picture of our family together, but if you squint at all the pictures, you can imagine what we looked like on Easter morning. :)
