Johnny Jumper Time

We busted out the Johnny Jumper for Hannah the other night. Hannah is starting to get mobile, rolling around all over the place and it's not always safe for her on the floor. She wasn't too sure about the jumper at first, and I think her brothers were almost more excited about it than she was! But after a few minutes, she could spin around and see the action going on around her. She hasn't started bouncing super high yet, but I'm sure that will come soon enough.

Random pictures from April

April was a fun, but busy month. Here are a couple of pictures I failed to post earlier...

3 little monkeys...

April showers bring umbrella fun!

We finally got around to dyeing Easter eggs a week after Easter. The boys didn't seem to notice that we were a little late in getting this done. They just loved watching their eggs change colors. And there was minimal mess!

This picture frightens me a little. I can't remember what he was saying or doing at this moment.

So sweet!

Happy Easter! Somehow we didn't manage to get a picture of our family together, but if you squint at all the pictures, you can imagine what we looked like on Easter morning. :)

Girls' Night Out

Lisa, Lora, Hannah, me, Rebecca and Jill

There's nothing like good food and good friends. It's good for the soul!

We had a great GNO with only one child, and she was very well-behaved if I do say so myself. Especially since her rotten mother kept her out until midnight. Yummy dinner at Thai Traditions. I was a little afraid that it would be too spicy, but it was delicious. Jill and Lisa, I wish you lived here so we could get together more often. Love you friends!

Easter Egg Hunt

Sweet friends!
Tanya, Jill, Lisa and Lora

And all our kiddos!

Let the egg hunt begin!

Even Hannah found an egg, with a little help from Auntie Jill.

Enjoying the bounty

Brenna got a blue bug in her egg.

Sydney loved her little grasshopper.

Andrew and Mark

The whole gang

On Saturday, we headed over to the Argetsingers for their annual Easter egg hunt. The kids had so much fun and the adults had a little chance to chat and catch up. This was the boys' first big egg hunt and they loved it! Andrew asked me today when it will be Easter again because he is ready to look for more eggs. We may need to discuss the real meaning of Easter a little more next year...

Hippos!
Andrew waited the whole day to see the hippos. They are truly his favorite animal at the zoo. I think if he had his choice, we would spend our whole visit to the zoo at the hippo exhibit. Our visit to the hippos goes a little like this: Run to the top to see them come up for air. Run to the underground area to try to see them swimming in their tank. Run back to the top. Run back to the bottom. Run. Run. Run.

Jonathan trying to see the hippos underwater, but their tank was a little dirty!

Hannah looked like this for most of the day at the zoo, and of course she refused to take a nap.

Checking out the hippos on the top side.

And their on the move, again!

Jonathan and Andrew with Grandpa Marvin

While Jill, Sydney and Brenna were here visiting, we made a trip to the zoo. I know we've been multiple times and see all the same animals, but the kids LOVE it. They would go every day if I would take them. We met Grandma Jan and Grandpa Marvin there and GiGi tagged along. (Jill's grandma was offended that she was asked if she would like to tag along. She responded by saying, "What? You don't want me to lead?!) She cracks me up! We had a great time and everyone was very tired at the end of the afternoon. Especially the moms!
