Jonathan's Spring Program

The theme of Jonathan's Spring program was "Summer Fun."
The whole preschool - Jonathan is on the top row, third from the left.
Jonathan did such a great job of singing all the songs and doing all the motions.

There were lots of cute photo ops set up, but getting all three to look at the camera was quite the challenge.

Carmen joined us for the program. Unfortunately, we didn't think to take a picture of her with the kids inside with the cute props. Fortunately, everyone in this photo is cute enough that you don't miss the decorations!

Bike Riding!

Look mom, no training wheels!
Jonathan took off within minutes after his training wheels were removed.
Hannah was happy to watch her brothers' success from her swing.
Andrew was also a super star without his training wheels. There's no stopping these boys now!  Look out world, or at least the neighbors.

Hannah loves sweets!

Hannah loves the Oreo frozen custard treats at Freddy's. The only catch, they are just a little messy, but oh, so yummy!

Hannah was very happy to be my taste-tester when I made some homemade strawberry ice cream.

Spring in Kansas...

In three short days, we went from this...
Aren't these the cutest little posers?!

to this...

This was the same tree the kids posed in front on Sunday, and this is what it looked like when we woke up Wednesday morning.

Andrew's 1st Grade Spring Program

Jonathan, Brenna and Hannah waiting for the program to start.

The theme was Creepy Crawly Bugs and Andrew's class is the middle section - grasshoppers and lady bugs.

Andrew, Jonathan and Brenna posing outside of Maize South High.

Crazy photo bomber in the middle. I was trying to capture my car filled with four children.

Andrew's music program was also the first week of April. Sydney was still sick, so she and Jill couldn't join us. We adopted Brenna for the night and went to see Andrew's very cute buggy music program. Andrew did great and sang every song and did all the motions. So cute!

Petersons Visit!

Silliness at dinner

The three S's - screens, snacks and silence!

Sydney and Andrew working together to solve a maze.

Manicure time

Brenna was a master Lego creator

These photos are out of order, but I'm too tired to fix them. Here's Hannah showing off her bright green manicure!

Sydney mailed us Flat Stanley and he cheered for the Shockers in the Final Four. Sadly they lost, but they made it to the Final Four, which is more than any other Kansas school could say this year.

Hannah and Brenna flying a kite.

Pool noodle or swords? - boys will be boys!
The Peterson Ladies came to visit the first week of April. This visit was extra special because instead of just visiting, they were here to house hunt and school shop! We are so excited that they are moving back and are going to leave a mere 20 minutes away instead of 2 days by car. This is the first time Jill and I will live in the same state since we got married. It's been almost 12 years, and that is 12 years too long.

The week went by in a blur, with lots of bonding of our children. Unfortunately, Sydney was sick for almost the whole week with a mysterious fever. Poor girl was so miserable, which is why she isn't in very many of these pics. But even sick, the week was a success. Jill found a house and a school and we are so very excited to see them again in a month or two!

More Easter Fun

Our girly-girl
the boys on the hunt for eggs

Hannah found a pair of Sondra's old sunglasses that we had converted to play glasses as children.

We went to Hutch for Easter dinner. The boys had fun hunting for eggs with their cousins. Hannah didn't join in the fun because she was too scared of Buster, the dog, who is harmless. But she did have fun going through our old toys. It was a busy, but fun Easter.
