This past week, we've had some fun visitors. Our favorite neighbor and babysitter, Carmen, came home to visit from Italy. Her family is living there for a year, and we miss them like crazy! The boys were so excited to see her and didn't want to share her with me. Andrew told me to leave the room at one point and told me I had talked to Carmen enough! I think if he could've gotten away with it, he would've told me to leave the house too!

Boys being boys
Megan, Zach and Jobe also came for a visit. They were in town from Minneapolis visiting Grandma Kathy and they brought her with them to see us. I was curious to see how the boys would get along because it's been a good year since they have been together. And no surprise, they acted like they see each other every day and played great together. Andrew was very sad when they left and so was I. I told him to tell Megan to move here, and Kathy agreed. Wish I could see more of you Megan. We miss you! Thanks for coming to visit!

Hannah didn't see much of the animals, but she didn't care as long as we kept her moving! 
We went into the Lemurs area. They were very tame and would jump on your lap if you had food for them. We were content to just look at them. 
On Saturday, we packed up and went to Tanganyika Wildlife Park. We had never been there before, so we decided it was a good day to give it a try. Our groupon, with half-off tickets was another good incentive! It's a fun place with interactive exhibits and nursery windows where you can see all the new babies born at the park. They had just opened for the season so many of their exhibits weren't ready for visitors. But the boys didn't notice and were thrilled to run from one animal to the next. Andrew kept a close eye on his map to make sure we didn't miss anything. I think their favorite animals were the bunnies and the tortoises. You could jump right into their enclosure and pet them. We were told to only touch the tortoises shell, no head or tail. One of the tortoises left a present behind as he waddled off and Andrew asked if it was a pickle. Umm No. That would be poop. But it did look a little like a giant dill pickle. Guess we won't be eating any of those any time soon!
