Kidslink Preschool Program

Walking on stage...

Looking for family in the audience

Jonathan and Luke watching the program

I'm not sure, but I think Jonathan is dreaming of the days when he is big enough to go to school.

After the program, Luke wanted to hold "Hann-ah"

He's slightly obsessed with her. It's very sweet.

Andrew had his preschool Christmas program on the 15th. We didn't know how he would do. He knew all the songs and practiced them at home. He even taught them to Jonathan. So we had some hope that he would perform. But when it came time to sing, he refused to do it. He started to do the motions, and then he spotted us in the audience and that was it. No more performing. At least he stayed on stage and didn't cry this year. We're making progress. And yes, all the kids are in pjs. The program was called "The Night Before Christmas."

Hannah doesn't get much unsupervised floor time. Her big brothers love when she is on the floor!

Hannah's growing fast, but she still has a ways to go before she catches up to her big brothers.

We had a little trouble lying still for the picture.

Christmas Program

I don't know why Jonathan was trying to fix his button. Maybe a little stage fright. But once the music started, he was ready to sing, or at least do the motions.

Andrew, not so much.

The boys had a little Christmas program at church. They sang 3 short songs. Well, some of the kids sang and some named Andrew chose not to sing, but he did stay on the stage. It was super cute to watch all the little 2 year olds through Pre-Ks perform.

Hannah is 2 months old already! It's hard to believe how fast her little life is flying by! Today she had her 2-month check up and we got a good report, finally! The doctor does want me to check in monthly to make sure she doesn't slide backward on the weight gain, but we feel pretty good that she has finally figured out life and that food is a good thing!

Hannah started giving us sweet smiles at around 6 weeks and loves to watch her brothers play. They move so fast that they often make her go cross-eyed, but she still tries to keep track of them.

She is also the blow-out queen. Someone told me that their little girl never had blow outs, so I was hoping that was true for my little girl. But alas, no. We constantly have a bucket of Oxi-Clean soaking at least one or two outfits. And generally her blow outs are so bad that she requires a bath. We take comfort that if her output reflects her input, she has no choice but to get bigger!

Hannah is a very good baby. We really can't complain. She has settled into somewhat of a routine. She eats every 4-5 hours. She's still not a good nurser, but I make her practice and sometimes she does well and sometimes she doesn't. We always follow up nursing with a bottle and after eating, she's awake and smiling for an hour or so and then ready to be cuddled and helped to sleep. She's also sleeping a blessed 5-7 hours at night. Love this baby!

While Grammy was here, we went to Build-A-Bear and got each of the boys a new friend. They had a great time picking out their animal and then picking out the clothes. They helped stuff the animal and then picked out a little heart and gave it a kiss before stuffing it in. Now they sleep with their new pet every night. Thanks for taking us Grammy!
