Vacation - Day 3

Tuesday, we took in some sights on the Boardwalk. First stop was the Exploration Center, a Save the Narragansett Bay Aquarium.

Touch tank - Keith is holding a starfish

The jellyfish tank was my favorite. This photo didn't turn out thanks to the flash, but there were hundreds of jellyfish floating in this tank. They can't actually swim. They rely on the current to move them, so this tank simulates that and has a clockwise current. They looked so relaxed and lazy floating in a giant circle!

After the aquarium, we went next door to the carousel.

The boys loved this! I think this was their first carousel ride.

After the carousel ride, Keith spotted a Del's lemonade truck. Apparently it's a Rhode Island summer tradition. The boys and Keith thoroughly enjoyed the frozen treat. I just thought it tasted like frozen sugar water with a smidge of lemon flavoring.

Loved this sign for the way they spelled "chowda!" And we enjoyed the Lobster Rolls for lunch.
