Last Sunday we went to Maranatha for Adam and Hannah's baby dedication. Grandpa has dedicated all of his grand babies so far. Even though Hannah was dedicated at our church a couple months ago, we wanted to continue the tradition with Grandpa! It was a fun and exhausting day.

Hannah's verse from her dedication: "Commit to the Lord whatever you do and your plan will succeed." ~Proverbs 16:3

Adam and Hannah - would you believe they are 4 months apart? Who is older? Don't guess based on who is bigger! And getting Hannah to sit still for a picture, well, that required a little help from Grandma.

Happy baby! He just learned to sit all by himself a couple days before his 6-month birthday!

We celebrated the last day before school started with a trip to Hutchinson that included breakfast with the Nisly clan at Carriage Crossing and fun at Grandma and Grandpa's house. Somehow, I only took pictures of Adam and Hannah. I guess the big boys didn't hold still long enough for any pictures to be taken!

Vacation - Day 5 - The Cliff Walk

The Cliff walk is famous for all the mansions. Here's a little glimpse of one. We didn't walk far enough to see any up close. Maybe next time, we can tour some of the mansions. It just wasn't in the cards for this trip.

Sadly, this was the end of our vacation. We had a great time and it was so beautiful. The ocean, the beach, the pool, family, fun, memories and of course good food. It was sad to leave, but it was good to come home. And then it was time to gear up for school starting and schedules. But it was nice to escape from it all for awhile. Newport, we'll be back. We didn't begin to explore all that you had to offer!

Vacation - Swimming every day!

We spent a lot of time in the pool! It was so great to swim for an hour or so, wear the kids out and cool off.

We discovered on this trip that Hannah is quite the little water baby. She LOVED the pool and had no fear of the water.

On Wednesday night after a busy day of fishing and swimming, we enjoyed a wonderful meal of fresh fish (grilled by Master Chef Dave), assorted fried seafood and chowda from Flo's Clam Shack. Oh.My.Goodness! So delicious! And the best part about the fresh fish - it was caught by all the handsome men sitting at the table with us.
