Hannah

This is what I find when a certain little girl named Hannah is supposed to be taking a nap. You will notice she is naked from the waist down and has emptied several dresser drawers. And to her right, is a mostly empty package of wipes. I'm sure there was a very good reason for this mess, but none come to mind. She's so precious! *sigh* At least on this day, she didn't remove a poopy diaper and try to clean herself. This has happened two too many times! I wish there was a magic pill to give my children to help them understand that naps are still a necessity when they are 2 and even 3 for that matter!

A first time for everything!

Let the record show that all three children are sleeping at the same time in the middle of the afternoon! (Andrew has a fever today and that is how I got him to nap.) This may never happen again, so I had to put it on the blog! I'd take a picture of my sleeping beauties, but that might wake them, so you'll just have to believe me!

Sleep Fighter

This is what happens when little boys try to fight their nap. They end up falling asleep sitting up during rest time. Jonathan has been trying to give up his nap, but I still make him go to his room for quiet time. Usually he falls asleep 2 or 3 days a week. I miss him napping every day, but he keeps reminding me, "When it be Febuary, I be big!" So I guess when you are big, you no longer need to nap. Funny how that doesn't seem to be true for me!
